The Washington Post just released a three minute jaw-dropping 2005 video between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Billy Bush, a radio/television host and cousin to President George W. Bush. In the audio, it does not appear Trump or Bush knew their microphones were on while they made crass statements about groping women and using their “star status” to make sexual advancements. Reflection: Violence Begets Violence

 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said it best, “Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness.”

Hate has been spreading like a disease in many places in the world. Violence because a group doesn’t agree with another group’s religion. People are fearful or distrustful of another group (i.e. race, ethnicity). Hatred over how an individual identify themselves (i.e. sexuality).  It all ends the same – with bloodshed and tears. Life lost too soon and a community struggling to understand why.

The death toll has also been raised to 44.

Turkish authorities have arrested 13 people over the attack according to officials.
