Reflections: The Real Monsters

The Real MonstersWhen I was little, I feared there were monsters under my bed and in my closet at night. I imagined they were hideous creatures who wanted to scare or do harm to me as I slumbered peacefully at night.

Where this notion came from, I am not exactly sure. It might have stemmed from my parents joking how the Bogeyman would visit me if I didn’t behave, my brother watching scary movies like The Wolf Man and Dracula around me, or my Christian roots and learning about Satan (also called the Devil).

In any case, my fear of monsters continued for quite some time before I un-masked the real monsters in the world. Continue reading Reflections: The Real Monsters

Pair Apple AirPods Pro with PC

AirPods ProHands down, one of the best purchases I made this year was my Apple AirPods Pro. When I purchased these little handy wireless earbuds in March, I did not know they would be my saving grace during the COVID-19 lockdown. How I Spent My Stimulus Payment?

About $250 billion was set aside for direct payments to individuals and families. This week instead of paying taxes, millions of Americans will receive a stimulus payment. Roger StoneUPDATE (2/20/2020): Roger Stone was sentenced to 40 months in prison. No word if a pardon by President Trump will be made.


The media is abuzz again! President Donald Trump tweeted support for his longtime friend Roger Stone and his disappointment on federal prosecutors recommending a seven to nine-year prison sentence for Stone. President Trump also incited more speculation by congratulating Attorney General Bill Barr for looking into the case, which made people question if the Trump Administration is protecting his cronies from receiving fair and impartial justice for crimes.
