You Reap What You Sow…

“You reap what you sow.”

A saying many of us have heard. It has biblical origins and can be found in Galatians 6:7. In sum, the saying means there are long-term effects to our actions. The effects can either be positive or negative.

Most people associate this saying as a warning against mischievous doings, but the saying means more than that. In can be interpreted from a literal, metaphorical, and spiritual perspective. From a positive metaphorical perspective, the saying denotes that nothing comes to the lazy. If you want to reap rich rewards in the near future, then you need to start sowing today. Work now so you can harvest later.
