Reflections: New Year’s Resolutions

new year's resolutions2016 is here!

We’ve made it.

It was just yesterday, the world was scared of Y2K when the year 2000 came ringing in.

The years pass quickly.  The Y2K scare was 16 years ago. Have you made progress in the last 16 years? If not, we don’t want another 16 years to pass us
by before we truly start living the life we have dreamed of.

Roughly 40% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions each year. Whether you are American or not, you can still strive to make 2016 a better year than 2015. You just have to think about what you want to change and go for it.

Do you want to lose more weight? Eat healthier? Quit smoking? Get a new job?  Get out of debt? Travel more? Start a business? Move to a new home/location? Get married? Have a child?

The possibilities are endless and the year is brand new. Whatever the case, don’t carry over bad habits of 2015 into 2016. Leave them behind. Start small and by the end of 2016, look at the wonderful progress you have made to better yourself.

Virgo Philosophy would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and may magnificent adventures await you.
